Dunkin’ dignitaries

August 25, 2015

A dunk tank was one of a number of fun events available to delegates at the 67th annual Summer Conference, hosted by the Alberta Teachers’ Association in Banff from Aug. 10 to 14. President Mark Ramsankar, Vice-President Robert Twerdoclib and Vice-President Greg Jeffery each took a turn getting dunked for a cause. The dunk tank raised money for the Alberta division of the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Summer Conference provides training to members who are actively involved or are interested in becoming involved in the Association’s work. About 450 delegates heard from three keynote speakers and attended a range of seminars and social activities.
